August 23-25, 2024

We are excited to bring back, Love and Laughter in the Pines, a women’s retreat weekend. This is a come as you are weekend, no make-up, comfy clothes, relaxing time in God’s creation. This isn’t a dress your best, look the finest.  This is a refill and replenish weekend. Our hope is that the pressures of the world will stay at home and while you are here you: find true connection with Jesus, make new friends with Christian women, and develop a deeper love and relationship with the Lord and yourself. Whether a new believer or one who has served Him for years, we hope to replenish your soul with Truth from the Bible and fill your lungs with laughter.

Location:
Camp Peaceful Pines has served as an outdoor ministry for over 75 years. This peaceful setting in the pines offers a unique opportunity to soak in God’s creation. The campgrounds are very basic, which offer: bunk beds, shared bathrooms (toilets and showers), dining hall, campfire pit, volleyball courts, ping-pong and creek flowing through the center of the grounds. By being on the more rustic side, this camp allows you to feel like you’re out in the woods without sacrificing some of the comforts of home, think of glamping!

Your Hosts:
Love Burnsed – Love is a Georgia girl, with a cheerful heart and passion for Christ. She is a loving wife and mother to two sweet girls. She serves as the Big Valley Christian School PE teacher and cheer coach. She has a gift of serving others through love, encouragement and prayer.

She grew up attending Camp Peaceful Pines as a toddler and later got married on-site in 2011. Now she shares camp with her two children, who you can find running through the pines barefoot. She has a deep passion for sharing camp with others.
