General Information

We do our best to keep camp affordable for our campers. Your registration helps cover the costs of operating the camp. Rates are calculated upon the previous year’s attendance and the annual budget. Camp Peaceful Pines does offer a discount for early registration known as the Super Saver rate. These are valid through June 1st so register early! This also helps plan for the summer as we have an earlier sense of camp attendees. For some of the camps, we offer weekend and daily rates. See the individual camps for details when you register.

The Camp Board wants all who are interested to be able to participate at camp. If you need financial assistance to attend, contact your local church and the Camp Registrar to see about scholarship funds.  Please contact Lynda at: (209) 527-8613 or email her at: CampPPRegister@gmail.com or Garry Pearson (gwp95618@gmail.com).

The Camp wants to encourage folks to sign up and participate at camp, but we know that sometimes plans have to change. If you notify the registrar that you will not be able to attend a camp you have registered for at least 22 days before the camp was to begin you will receive a full refund of fees. If you cancel between 21 and 14 days prior to the camp you will receive a refund of 50%. Cancellations inside of 14 days will not receive a refund. If a medical/ health emergency prevents your attendance at camp refunds may be available. Be in touch with the camp registrar as soon as possible: cppregistrar@gmail.com

Camp Peaceful Pines does not permit campers to bring or use tobacco, tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs, or firecrackers to camp. Pets are not allowed at camp either. We encourage all campers to wear modest dress while at camp. The use of cell phones at camp is highly discouraged. Additional information and policies will be communicated by individual camp directors prior to the beginning of the specific camp.  COVID Protocols will be implemented and subject to change depending on Alpine health department guidelines.  Camp does have Covid Mitigation plan approved by Alpine County!  Stay tuned as the state of California will be issuing new guidelines on June 15th, 2021.

Kids campers will receive a free group photo as part of their registration. For other camps the photo can be emailed for free or a print purchased for $5. There will be Camp Peaceful Pines t-shirts and sweatshirts available for sale at camp, but no shirts are included with any registration fees.

Please register in advance for camp! Yes, the food is that good, but the fee also helps cover costs for Fire insurance, maintenance, propane, as well as the Forest Service fees and Alpine County fees that camp is assessed. If you unable to stay for a full day the suggested donation is $10 per meal, per person. Please contact the Camp Director when you arrive so they can inform the cook.

There are a variety of ways that you can be involved in helping make Camp happen each year. A few are listed below with information on who to contact to get involved. We appreciate your support!

Counselors – We need responsible adults to help make the camp experience come to life at our age level camps. Counselors must be 18 years old, at least 4 years older than the age level being counseled, and familiarity with camp is a plus. Contact Program Committee Chair Sophia Ewert (soewert@gmail.com) to apply.

Maintenance – If you have construction skills or the willingness to learn, we probably have a team that you can work on. To volunteer contact Properties Committee Chair Rod Weaver (rweaver1727@hotmail.com).
