Camp Pricing

Registration Costs: To help keep camp affordable and still cover the costs of operating the camp, the Camp Peaceful Pines Board has put a new price structure in place. First, there is a base rate for each camp. To help with affordability we are offering two different early register and pay opportunities that allow you to save 17% or 10% off the cost of coming to camp and helps the Camp better plan for the summer as we have an earlier sense of camp sizes and needs.  There are also just weekend rates if you can only stay for the weekend!  See the individual camps for details when you register

On each camp you will see the three price structure like this: Super Saver/Full Cost
Super Saver date for all camps depends on the Super saver dates!! check the Camp Link for details when registering
Full Cost is for any registration inside of 21 days before a camp begins.

Scholarships: The Camp Board wants all who are interested to be able to participate at camp. If you need financial assistance to attend, contact your local church and the Camp Registrar to see about scholarship funds.  Please contact Lynda at: (209) 527-8613 or email her at:CampPPRegister@gmail.com or Garry Pearson(gwp95618@gmail.com)

Refund Policy: The Camp wants to encourage folks to sign up and participate at camp, but we know that sometimes plans have to change. If you notify the registrar that you will not be able to attend a camp you have registered for at least 22 days before the camp was to begin you will receive a full refund of fees. If you cancel between 21 and 14 days prior to the camp you will receive a refund of 50%. Cancellations inside of 14 days will not receive a refund. If a medical/ health emergency prevents your attendance at camp refunds may be available. Be in touch with the camp registrar as soon as possible.

Camp Policies in Brief

Camp Peaceful Pines does not permit campers to bring or use tobacco, tobacco products, alcohol, illegal drugs, or firecrackers to camp. Pets are not allowed at camp either. We encourage all campers to wear modest dress while at camp. The use of cell phones at camp is highly discouraged. Additional information and policies will be communicated by individual camp directors prior to the beginning of the specific camp.  COVID Protocols will be implemented and subject to change depending on Alpine health department guidelines.  Camp does have Covid Mitigation plan approved by Alpine County!  Stay tuned as the state of California will be issuing new guidelines on June 15th, 2021

Photos & T-shirts

Kids campers will receive a free group photo as part of their registration. For other camps the photo can be emailed for free or a print purchased for $5. There will be Camp Peaceful Pines t-shirts and sweatshirts available for sale at camp, but no shirts are included with any registration fees.

Partial Day Attenders

For any camp, the daily fee for partial attenders is $30 per person per day, and the cost of a meal is $10 per meal if you aren’t staying for the day. You still need to register in advance for the camp! Yes the food is that good, but the fee also is covering costs for Fire insurance, maintenance, and the Forest Service fees, Alpine County fees, Fuel costs,  that camp is assessed.

Help Wanted

There are a variety of ways that you can be involved in helping make Camp happen each year. A few are listed below with information on who to contact to get involved. We appreciate your support!

Counselors - We need responsible adults to help make the camp experience come to life at our age level camps. Counselors must be 18 years old, at least 4 years older than the age level being counseled, and familiarity with camp is a plus.

Contact Program Committee Chair Sophia Ewert (soewert@gmail.com) to apply.

Maintenance - If you have construction skills or the willingness to learn, we probably have a team that you can work on. To volunteer contact Properties Committee Chair Rod Weaver (rweaver1727@hotmail.com).
